Family Verralls Name

The Development of this Site

The original documents from our research into the family "Verralls" are in my bureau drawer and somewhere in my brother's flat in Hong Kong. I have made up a document of photocopied notes, some eight millimetres thick, consolidating much of our work. This has been distributed to all known people with surname Verralls for whom we have a postal address. This is about twenty to date, all around the world. This file contains much of the information that we have accumulated on our branch of the family "Verralls". It also contains many references to the more common spelling of the family name Verrall as well as other variants. Anyone, who would like a copy of this, just has to ask me (Peter Verralls).

However the present method of distributing our data is not satisfactory. The file cannot contain all the information we have collected. It is difficult to have some information in Hong Kong and some in Britain. Some people will be interested in one area of our research and some in others. To overcome these problems we are transferring much of the information onto two web sites on the Internet.

Steve is keen to trace our direct forbears and his site will contain information on our family. I will be researching the surname Verralls and it's variants.
