At this point in my "research", all I can claim is to have gathered easily obtainable information. I have simply found and assembled the results of other people's research.
I have to thank Michael Verrall of Dorking for the most authoritative information on the origins of the Verrall name. His work is mentioned above and a copy of his notes and references are available from me and should soon be on the web site.
I should also thank Dick Gilbert who has traced his relatives in Sussex and has crossed the Verrall path. In doing so he has noted the records of Verrall, mainly from Lewes and Eastbourne, about 30 pages, 1666 to 1851. Dick sent me the list that I have reproduced here,
Verrall from 1666. Dick's home page is http://homepages.enterprise.net/skyline/tree.html.I am grateful to Karen Langridge for providing the information on the descendants of Richard Verrall which I have reproduced here,
Descendants of Richard Verrall.Angela Verralls provided information that came closest to my own family and I am now trying to establish a link. Angela's information is on the page,
The Research of Angela Verrells. My brother, Stephen, has researched our family's forbears and much of this site has come from his work.
